Ballet ” Swan Lake”

Outline:

Act one. Picture one.

On stage, a huge Park, green age-old trees. In the distance you can see the castle where the Sovereign Princess lives. On the lawn between the trees, Prince Siegfried celebrates his coming of age with his friends. Young people raise cups of wine, drink for the health of his friend, fun beats over the edge, everyone wants to dance. The tone is set by the jester, dancing. Suddenly, Siegfried’s mother, the Sovereign Princess, appears in the Park. All present are trying to hide the traces of the carousal, but to hell accidentally knocks a Cup. Princess is angry with frowning, she is ready to splash out its outrage. Here she is presented with a bouquet of roses, and the severity is softened. The Princess turns and leaves, and the fun flares up with renewed vigor. Then darkness falls, the guests are leaving. Siegfried remains alone, but he does not want to go home. High in the sky flying flock of swans. The Prince takes a crossbow and goes hunting.

Dense forest. Among the thickets of large stretches of the lake. On the water surface floating white swans. Their movements, though smooth, but there is some elusive anxiety. The birds are rushing about as if something is disturbing their peace. These are enchanted girls, only after midnight they will be able to take human form. The evil wizard Rothbart, the owner of the lake, dominates the defenseless beauties. And here is on Bank emerges Siegfried with a crossbow in the hands of, decided to hunt. He’s going to shoot an arrow at the white Swan. A moment more, and an arrow will pierce the noble bird to death. But suddenly the Swan turns into a girl of unspeakable beauty and grace. This is the Swan Queen, Odette. Siegfried is fascinated, he has never seen such a beautiful face. The Prince tries to meet the beauty, but she slips away. After several unsuccessful attempts, Siegfried finds Odette in her friends ‘ dance and confesses her love. The words of the Prince touch the heart of the girl, she hopes to find in him the Savior from the power of Rothbart. Soon the dawn should come, and all the beauties with the first rays of the sun will again turn into birds. Odette gently says goodbye to Siegfried, the water slowly swans float away. Between young people remains innuendo, but they are forced to part, because the evil sorcerer Rothbart closely monitors the situation, and he will not allow anyone to avoid his witchcraft. Without exception, the girls should become birds and remain enchanted until the night. Siegfried remains to withdraw, so as not to endanger the white swans.

Act two. Picture three.

In the castle of the Sovereign Princess ball. Among the many girls present of noble origin, one of them should be chosen Siegfried. However, the Prince does not honor anyone with his attention. His Odette’s thinking. Meanwhile, Siegfried’s mother tries in every way to impose one of her favorites on him, but to no avail. However, in accordance with etiquette, the Prince is obliged to make a choice and give his beloved a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Fanfare, announcing the arrival of new guests. The evil wizard Rothbart appears. Next to the sorcerer is his daughter, Odile. She’s like two drops of water, like Odette. Rothbart expects that the Prince will be fascinated by his daughter, Odette will forget, and she will forever remain in the power of the evil wizard. Odile manages to seduce Siegfried, he is fascinated by her. The Prince declares to his mother that his choice is Odile, and immediately confesses his love to the treacherous girl. Suddenly, Siegfried sees a beautiful white Swan in the window, he throws off his magic spells and runs to the lake, but late – Odette is lost forever, she is exhausted, there are faithful friends around-swans, but they are no longer able to help.

Act three. Picture four.

Deep silent night. On the shore are drooping girls. They know about the grief that befell Odette. But all is not lost – uses Siegfried and on his knees begging his lover to forgive him. And here comes a flock of black swans led by the sorcerer Rothbart. Siegfried fights him and wins by breaking the evil wizard’s wing. Black Swan is dying, and with it disappears the magic. The rising sun lights up Odette, Siegfried and the dancing girls, who no longer have to turn into swans.
